- Answer Hello "MommyC", Each Power Acoustik Unit, Model: PHD-101 is a complete "Single" monitor with a built in DVD Player. They do not come with, nor are they mounted inside the headrest of the vehicle, but they attach to the existing posts of the headrests in most vehicles. If you are looking for a complete headrest monitor and DVD unit that is already built into a complete replacement headrest, look at the Unit Model: HDVD-91CC.

- Answer Hello Aramis, the screen is not touch sensitive. There is a remote control that comes with the unit, and there are on board operation switches in the bottom panel of the monitor to navigate through the different functions of the unit. Depending on the source of your audio files, and how they are loaded onto the device you are loading the A/V Data into the monitor system with, you should see the audio files. The unit does not have powered speaker outputs to connect external speakers with. However there are A/V Outputs via. RCA Terminals that can be patched into your radio if it has A/V inputs. Or you can connect them to an external audio amplifier to transfer the audio signal to the speakers in your vehicle.

- Answer Yes the unit comes with the mounting brackets. You have the option to disconnect the unit from the power plug and store the unit in a safe place when not using. The unit has DVD, USB, SD Card, AV/in, MHL playback sources.

- Answer To operate the Steering Wheel control feature for your Power Acoustik radio and Ford vehicle. You will need to purchase a Steering wheel control interface module. Power Acoustik does not make these modules. Suggest that you look in to Metra and locate their ASWC-1 module. Thank you

QuestionHow large are the buttons on the remote? And can it be used with an universal remote?

- Answer Most of the primary buttons on the remote are approximately 3/8" in diameter, and the gaming buttons are approximately 5/8" diameter. I don't know of any "Universal" remote that will work with this device.

- Answer Hello Bell, The Power Acoustik PHD-101 does not have an SD Card Port, but it does have a USB input port. If you have full size SD Cards or Micro SD Cards no larger than 32 Gigs, you can get adapters for both size cards to load them into that will convert their terminals to a USB terminal. Then as long as the video resolution on the cards is no higher than 720p, you should be able to watch movies from your SD Cards.

- Answer Hello "Hadx", The Power Acoustik PHD-101 has a USB input port as well as an "MHL" input terminal similar to an HDMI terminal. With the correct interconnect cable, either can be connected to many types of cellular phones, and depending on the origin of the A/V Signal from the phone, can be transmitted to the monitor. One exception is if the signal you are trying to rebroadcast is from a "Pay Per Use" source such as Netflix. Any transmitted signal you have to pay to see on your phone will not likely allow you to "Rebroadcast" their signal due to the signal being covered by copy-write laws.

- Answer Hello Niro, You can go to any electronics parts store to get a power terminal that can be plugged into a power port or cigarette lighter socket in the vehicle, and connect it to the power wires of the head rest monitor. However you may need to extend the power wires to get them to reach the power port in the vehicle.

- Answer Hello Kath, as long as the headrests in the seats of your vehicle has twin "Posts" holding them into the backrests, the PHD-101 can be mounted to them.

- Answer Hello Rich, I hope you realize that the unit in this add is a monitor that gets mounted to the vehicles existing "Head Rest", and is not an "In Dash Radio". So to answer your question, Yes. This monitor will most likely fit onto the headrest posts of the seats in your truck.
