Why does it blink when I go to charge it sometimes null

Try reseating the controller on the stand. Wiggle it around a bit until you feel it drop into a spot that holds it in place better.

Mine would blink red, too, when I first got it. I Googled it and seem to remember that it meant the controller needed to be reseated on the charger. It doesn’t do that anymore so I guess I’ve gotten better at getting them aligned on the stand the first time.
