No unfortunately you cannot dock the switch with the hybrid cover on

No, you would have to remove it every time if you want to use the console. But it does come with a screen protector which will help prevent scratches on the screen since the top of the console it touches the screen every time when placing it. I would recommend for people on the go and don't want to use the console.
