A: If you look at the pictures the vent of the console is on top and the cover doesn't seem to block it by design no matter what position the cover is in.
Q: Is the screen protector part of the cover or do you have to apply it to the screen?
A: It states under (product features) that it also includes a screen protector and cleaning cloth. I'd be confident to assume that it's separate. So yes, you will need to apply it.
Q: Are you able to dock the Switch when it has a Hybrid Cover on it?
A: No unfortunately you cannot dock the switch with the hybrid cover on
