A:AnswerIf you look at the pictures the vent of the console is on top and the cover doesn't seem to block it by design no matter what position the cover is in.
A:AnswerIt states under (product features) that it also includes a screen protector and cleaning cloth. I'd be confident to assume that it's separate. So yes, you will need to apply it.
