Q: QuestionHello, does this product have P65 warning?⚠️
Asked by Jany.
- A:Answer Yes, Proposition 65 requires a warning to be included with any product sold in California that may contain any of the 900-plus chemicals that State of California regulators (as opposed to federal and other state regulators) consider harmful. The Proposition 65 list is broad, subject to change, and contains substances that are found in products, sold and purchased in California, that are used or consumed in everyday living. For example, warnings have been required for coffee, vinegar, and fish, in addition to many other commonly-used products. Information about Proposition 65 and this warning is available on the website of the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) maintained by the State of California. http://www.oehha.org/prop65.html

- A:Answer Some components of this product contain Polycarbonate (PC) and Bisphenol-A (BPA) which is a precursor chemical used to make PC. BPA is a plastic ingredient that has been used to make some types of beverage containers, plastic dinnerware, impact-resistant safety equipment and toys. BPA epoxy resins are used in the protective linings of food cans, in dental sealants, and in other products. For nearly 60 years, the FDA has approved its use in certain food contact materials. The use of BPA in this product has not been restricted by the US government or any state government. This product is safe!

Q: QuestionI lost the manual for using this. Is there someplace that I can download a .pdf???
Asked by stel.
- A:Answer I marked the answer to the question "Unhelpful" because I tried the link supplied and the page is nonexistent. If you just use the https://www.tristarcares.com part, you can get to the website, but good luck in finding it from there--I couldn't. There are many models, however, so you might find one similar enough that the manual for that one would work for this variant.
