A:Answer This is a transport, not a CD player, sort of the first stage of a player. No onboard DAC, inputs to one. Output is PCM. Actually looks like a nice value if the output quality is high. My dCS Streamer DAC will do the rest. Include provide the clock. This is about $15K less than a DCS transport.
