A:AnswerIt does work with the Switch and is it rechargeable. It comes with the cable to charge it. It does not come with a charging dock it comes with a charging cable. You can plug it directly on the switch to charge. If your grandson's switch is the lite one that does not work with a TV only in handheld mode you can use an old phone charger with the cable that comes with it to charge. Finally there is no headphone jack on it
