“Do I need to disconnect the old dryer before they take it away?”

I just had a horrible experience with a dryer delivery - despite paying for haul away of the old appliance, the delivery guys refused to install the new dryer as I had not unhooked the old one. Apparently Best Buy expects completely inexperienced consumers to move and unhook large appliances themselves.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you paid for the professional installation service for your new dryer I think they will disconnect your old one for you as part of that service. If you just paid for haul away I think you are supposed to disconnect it yourself. I paid for both services but disconnected mine anyway.
