“manual indicates clip and key in console in case of emergency. Manual cover shows this feature but our treadmill doesn't have either. Don't see a place where could be inserted. We expected to have this feature. please advise”

Hi Becky, if you look at the console you will see the start and stop buttons. Between this is a spot for the red magnetic key that is your emergency off button. You should have received one in your package. You attach it to your clothing and in case you have an emergency it will get pulled off and the treadmill will stop immediately.
