I find the company’s response to this question frustrating. When I bought my bike nowhere did it say anything about iFits follow the trainer being developed for bikes with incline features only, so I bought assuming it would auto adjust appropriately. but it DOES NOT in these bikes. You will find going up steep hill resistance will decline and vice versa. Lots of owners have reporting this issue on Reddit and Facebook. ICON a needs to address this issue since Proform users are buying this bike expecting it to work with the iFit platform that it is bundled with. Unfortunately my two week return window had passed when I discovered this issue

There is not a conversion / number of resistance levels indicating what resistance level (change in resistance) is equivalent to a certain percentage of incline. The I-fit program for bikes has been developed for bikes that have both resistance changes from the flywheel and change in incline. Not sure how to help or what other information can be provided. Sorry I wish I had a better answer for you. :-(
