Thanks for reaching out. If resistance is not changing correctly, you may want to check your resistance cable to ensure it is routed correctly on the motor pulley.

You may want to attach a short video showing the problem and ask specifically for the service notes #MM4-103 that gives instructions to adjust the resistance cable.
