A:AnswerI have an older model but it looks relatively the same. Some water does go into the white area in a specific place...not the whole bottom.
You take the blue part (top) off, turn it over and there is a knob to open it up to fill/refill. Replace the knob, turn it over and put it on the stand. You can turn it over and/or remove the top without leaking water.
If it gets to a point that it's not producing a mist, take the top off, empty out any water in the white (bottom) part, replace the top. A few bubbles should come from the bottom into the top where that green "pop up" is. Turn it back on and it should work for you.
