• you must search your filter by refrigerator model number. do it any other way and you will get the wrong filter ask me how I know?

• check your owner manual or google it. I do not have a side to side fridge i have fridge on top and freezer on bottom and this fits mine

• My refrigerator is french door style with bottom drawer freezer compartment. My suggestion would be to go to Fridgedaire's website and enter your specific model number to determine if this filter will fit in your particular refrigerator. Good luck - sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.
