- Answer I would choose a smaller more reliable brand, Bestbuy has recorders that would be more suitable for what you are looking for, better quality but you will pay the price, but trust me it’s worth it not to go cheap.

- Answer If you mean a mini little size cassette, no, this recorder doesn't have a place to input that. It takes the standard size cassettes. It does take a USB though.
