- Answer It comes with a power cord to put in electric socket, but needs the batteries. The power cord alone won't get it to operate.

- Answer If you mean a mini little size cassette, no, this recorder doesn't have a place to input that. It takes the standard size cassettes. It does take a USB though.

QuestionHave an old Panasonic looks much like this model but mine has a couple of features I don't see here. #1: a manual tone control (low-high) button and #2: a counter button which is essential to locate a particular song.Does this one have either?
