• hi this is a normal cassette player as the old ones. << is for rewind, >> is for forward and > is for play and if you press the RED and PLAY buttons TOGETHER ALL THE WAY DOWN, unit will record to cassette. pls contact QFX support for more support at 3235886900. thx
