No. I believe they are rated at 75 watts with a higher peak. You want your amp slightly higher than than the rating. If you bypass the lows to a sub, you will be able to crank it up more without any reason for them to distort. I have a 110 per channel Denon with a sub and can push it to the max with no distortion or issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That should be plenty of power, maybe too much if you push it. Remember, these are small speakers. They are very good small speakers, but still small. If I remember correctly the peak power for these is close to or just below 100 watts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Definitely not, I have 100w going to the system now and it shakes the room. I will definitely be upgrading with a more powerful system but it's not required by any means.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sure, these are 8 ohm speakers, and you fall within the wattage to comfortably drive these
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not at all. I have a marantz nr1403 50x5 watts and it pushes these. I have to crank my receiver a little but not enough to worry about the receiver. So 500 watts would be perfect. I also recommend the klipsch r10sw sub with them.
