• The Rachio is a high end digital controller. I could not find a comparable product when I did my research. I would hands down purchase another if I were setting up a new irrigation system. Rachio 3 is currently the best on the market. You won't regret it.

• I wouldn't mess around with the old style at all. IMO, just invest in the Rachio when it goes on sale. You'll be glad you did.
