“What’s the difference between this one and the ranchio 8 zone 3rd generation smart sprinkler?”

• basically the only difference between the two is the 3rd gen is compatible with wireless gadgets ( like the wireless water meter rachio sells). If that isn't a feature you will use then get the 3e. Also, the 3e only comes in 8 zone units.
