  • QuestionAre valves wireless also? Are the valves wireless also?

    Asked by Grabrd.

    • Answer Hi Grabrd, Great question! The Iro will require 24V AC solenoids to operate. They are not included with the controller as they are usually already installed and the Iro is simply replacing your old sprinkler timer. For more information, please visit our support site and search for "General FAQs" + "Technical Data". Let me know if this answers your question, or if you have any others. Thanks, Emil

  • QuestionCan Best Buy install this timer??Thanks for the response.

    • Answer I don't think so, but any landscaper or handyman should be able to do it. But really, it's something you should be able to do yourself with nothing more than a screwdriver and drill and 30 minutes of your time. There are a number of YouTube videos on how to do it, so you can actually watch every step of the installation. There is one wire for each watering zone to connect (and it really doesn't matter what order you put them in), then you snap on the faceplate. That's it. The app for your phone walks you through the rest of the setup, which is straightforward.
