“Just got this radar detector and connected it in my car. Is there a way to shut off the voice from saying K with a series of numbers each time it goes off? I turned the voice OFF in User Pref and that didn’t fix the issue for me.”

We would recommend doing a firmware update and then doing a factory reset. K band alerts do not announce the frequency, but the feature is available only for Ka band. You can find that option under the "Voice" option in the "User Preference" settings. If you have any questions, feel free to call our support team at 888-RADENSO.
