- Answer It's over twice as long as the Escort cord, I can't imagine you'd have an issue with reaching your detector. Radenso also sells a direct wire kit that seems to have a lot of length.

QuestionWill any USB-C cord power this unit, or does it require the cigarette lighter to pull enough power? I have plenty of USB ports in my vehicle, but only one cigarette lighter and it's powering my dashcam.

- Answer If your detector has firmware 1.09 or later, you can power your detector on with any USB-A or USB-C port in your vehicle.

QuestionI am trying to purchase a Radenso DS1 but you dont send it out to where I live. I am not in Tucson but 160 northwest of tucson.

- Answer Everything you would need to get up and running is included in the box! The detector is also preset with general recommended settings so there is no need to program the detector.

QuestionJust got this radar detector and connected it in my car. Is there a way to shut off the voice from saying K with a series of numbers each time it goes off? I turned the voice OFF in User Pref and that didn’t fix the issue for me.

- Answer We would recommend doing a firmware update and then doing a factory reset. K band alerts do not announce the frequency, but the feature is available only for Ka band. You can find that option under the "Voice" option in the "User Preference" settings. If you have any questions, feel free to call our support team at 888-RADENSO.
