Yes you need the app for probably 70% of it

So i will take that as a yes. Sorry you dont get my data when other hardware vendors dont demand it. It would have been more honest to answer directly with either a yes or no.

It is very beneficial to create an account and yse the razor synapse app to adjust audio profiles as well as use THX Spatial functions. The account is free and easy to set up. Will also aloow you to change RGB settings.

Yes and no, the headphones are great straight out of the box, but if you want to customize the rgb lighting you will need to download razer software and create an accout
