can i use this headset using only 3.5mm without it being turned on to save battery when needed? like a regular wired headset that you just plug and that's it. no need to turn on anything. null

Yes. You can use the Razer Barracuda X through its 3.5mm analog connection without draining the battery.

I believe so. I have used mine turned off with the 3.5mm jack, but not with the battery completely depleted. Don't know if that would make a difference though.

Yes, you can use them as just a wired pair of headphones, I’ve yet to actually charge mine and they work great
