• Yes. You can use the Razer Barracuda X through its 3.5mm analog connection without draining the battery.

• I believe so. I have used mine turned off with the 3.5mm jack, but not with the battery completely depleted. Don't know if that would make a difference though.

• Yes, you can use them as just a wired pair of headphones, I’ve yet to actually charge mine and they work great
