• It really depends on your membership aka Best Buy rewards member level. The return policy is actually 15 days for non members and new members, 30 days for elite members (spent 1,500 in a year at Best Buy) and 45 days for elite plus (spent 3,500 in a year at Best Buy). Each level has its own perks as well.

• Best to call them or go back to the store. If you get the extended warranty I think the return policy is extended even longer. Personally I like this mouse. they do wear out and the pads. This is the second one I bought due to the other was worn out.
