Razer can write-off their loss on hardware and microsoft can write-off their loss on software. Best Buy doesn't manufacture laptops nor produce software and can't sell for under their contracted price (through Razer & MS). Razer gets a leg up on the competition when they offer on-site sales and promotions. What Razer doesn't tell you is if you have issues with your hardware and are forced to return (RMA) you'll be without a device for a considerable amount of time. In Best Buy's case, you walk in with a broken device and walk out with a new replacement so long as you purchase the warranty.
