• Yes! I use this headset in my PS4 controller, and the PS4 also supports game sound through the controller. It's quite comfortable for this use.

• The headset is compatible with a PS4 although when i tried it, it only played sound out of one ear for some odd reason. That may be Sony? But yes it does work in general.

• YES. You can use this directly with a DualShock 4 controller, and it will output the game sound through the headset/controller. The mic will then also work as your party chat mic without problem. If for whatever reason you didn't want to go through the controller, you could plug a USB sound card into the PS4 and use the splitter cable to plug directly into the system. Short answer is yes.
