- Answer No, if your Xbox one controller already have a 3.5mm jack then you do not need an adapter.. But if your using 1st Gen Xbox one Controller and it doesn’t have the 3.5mm jack, then yes you will need to buy an adapter

- Answer Yes, this headset is entirely adequate and functional. A very good value for the price. It is a plug in and not a remote. Great if you don't have any more HDMI ports available.
