• There is an option to mute the mic. It can't do that for you.

• Any headset worth its salt won't. The mics are meant to pickup voices.

• I believe they do to a certain extent you can still hear somethings from time to time but it is very unlikely to sound like there's racket on the other side. I have used them with music plating in the background and I have it set up for voice activation and they dont act up. Unless its extremely high for the microphone to register that there's sound happening you should be ok. It also has a mute button on the mic that you can mute while having an outside conversation and unmute very quickly to get back in game
