• There is a way to fix the turn off feature. I did on mine because of the annoyance factor when your idle at computer. It's officially unofficial firmware update.

• It only auto turns off of there is no sound input to it.

• Mine turn off in short time as well. Honestly; I really never looked to see what it is supposed to be.

• mine shuts off after about 15 mins or so of inactivity. Has never cutoff while gaming, surfing, or watching tv
