    • Answer For many people, using a pad (regular console controller) is inefficient and can feel unusable at times. Movement matters in fighting games, and if you don't have the right controller, it can be frustrating. This style of controller is excellent for people who want an authentic old arcade style feel when playing games. Price is expensive because it takes more effort to create a controller that is not the norm, and also, the Razer Tax if you will
