So I want to stream video games and record video games on ps4, xbox one, and pc and I was wondering if this is the right capturing device for it. Also how does it compare with the Elgato - Game Capture HD60 - Multi? Which is better for what I want to do?   (1 Answer)

I own both cards the HD60 and the ripsaw, the ripsaw is way better, there's little to no latency, very easy to set up and gives great quality videos.

I wanted to know if anyone has used this device on a PS4 Pro or an Xbox One S. I want to record/stream myself playing my games but don't want to have to turn off hdr/4k. I don't mind if it records at 1080p.   (2 Answers)

Just wanted to let everyone know that I purchased the Ripsaw and tested it. It will not pass through the 4k/hdr signal. When I went into my settings on my Xbox one S it only allowed me to have either 720p or 1080p.

Download free software like OBS; go classic if you have a choice. You can also use Xsplit or most other streaming/recording programs. The Ripsaw does NOT work for Mac though.

I want to stream video games and record them on ps4. xbox one, and pc, and I was wondering if this capture device is as good or better than the elgato game capture hd60. So which one is better between the 2?   (2 Answers)

Better than the HD60, but not the HD60 S, which is the product I bought after this one. It's a personal preference, but I like the Game Capture software more than Razer Cortex, as everything is on one screen compared to across a bunch of tabs that don't tell you much. Basically, it's all down to software.

If your receiver has an HDMI OUT, you can run that through the IN port on the Ripsaw and record ... as long as there's no HDCP built in. So, it depends on your cable box or whatever receiver you're using.
