- Answer Yes, it has a humidistat showing RH%. It doesn't has a keypad so that one can only use +/- to set the setpoint.

QuestionPlease define dehumidifier. I don't have much education, I just need to know if this equipment is used for hot weather or cold. What are the benefits?

- Answer A dehumidifier takes moisture from the air. Therefore, it can be used in the summer heat to reduce humidity in the air and in the winter cold to help with moisture from basements, cooking, bathrooms, etc. Anywhere there is moisture. Air smells cleaner and not as musty.

QuestionOops, I might have thrown out the drain hose connector which came with the dehumidifier. Can anyone point me toward a replacement? I know the hose doesn't come with the unit. I didn't realize how often I'd be manually emptying the bucket!

- Answer it comes with a short 4 inch hose that screws in to attach. To extend it you'd need a hose splice and more hose.

- Answer Empty the tank and let it keep going. It's 70 pints a day removed. Not 70 pints in the tank at once lol.
