• it comes with a short 4 inch hose that screws in to attach. To extend it you'd need a hose splice and more hose.

• Does not come with a hose so I cut an old garden hose to connect to back of unit and drain into sump pump; much easier than carrying the filled container up the stairs to dump outside.
