• NO need for a converter. It's the same concept when they were analog antennas.Just of your HD TV you just set the auto program setting.

• The RCA - Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna does not require a converter box when used with a digital TV.

• No, this is for broadcast channels. It has its own conversion and power source.
