It does receive hd signal but you have to have an HD tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, as long as the tower you receive a signal from has a HD broadcast. It is only a 720 rating but that's pretty normal. I believe the HDMI cable is for 1080p and above.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. Certain channels will tell you if the reception is 720p. Others will be 480p or less. It's really looks incredible in HD. The cable that the antenna uses provides you with the HD picture. All broadcasting channels are required to provide HD programming for free even without the HDMI cables.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This antenna receives both digital (including HD) and analog TV signals. The antenna comes with the connector cable (which you call an old fashioned) that is enough for HD reception. You have to find the best orientation of the antenna to get the best picture quality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I receive 1080p channels over the air. You don't need an HDMI port for over the air.
