• A:Answer The camera is mounted on top of the license plate. So it should not matter if the wiring is done to bypass any obstruction. In our case, the USB cable to the monitor was short, but they added another chord with a coupler where the monitor was placed at the left corner on the dashboard, so that it was not an obstruction. After all, you need to see that only when you are backing up. The image shows up when you shift the gears to "reverse"! Rest of the time- it stays off

• A:Answer The item came with one camera and one monitor (a device you mount on your dash like a GPS in the old days). There are some that come with just the camera-- and you can use your phone to see the images. I wanted to keep those separate for my daughter, a new driver

• A:Answer Geek Squad does install wired back up camera. I am not sure if your car has a head unit that can work with the back up camera, but in my case my head unit was in it's last lap. I decided to purchase both head unit and a back up camera. The installation of the Head unit was free as they have been having regular promotions of free installations. The back up camera would be an additional $130+(it is free is you have total tech support)
