“I recently purchased this and noticed that the erasing is a very rough experience. It doesn't flow smoothly. Is this normal? I find it hard to erase (more than normal resistance) and worry I am damaging the tablet.”

I purchased the black stylus with erase function. The eraser does seem to be pressure sensitive in that is appears to erase a wider are when pressed firmly. However, I've found that the only time I use the eraser now is if there is something on the edges that I can't quite get to when attempting to encircle the area with the front of the pen. It is a rare occasion, but I have tried encircling an area that was just too close to the edges it to grasp. Using the encircle function is much more precise, and can move more easily around adjacent areas that you don't want to erase. Hope this helps.

I was trying to use the eraser function like it was a real eraser, but all you have to do is run over the text once with the eraser and you'll see it somewhat fade. If you do nothing else then the faded text will erase. So, if you want to erase a lot, then you just swipe the eraser until everything you want to erase has a "faded" look and then lift the eraser off the tablet.
