Q: QuestionCan I download a construction plan pdf file and zoom in(4 answers)
A: AnswerFirst of all, just know I’m not familiar with what a construction file consists of. Second, I tested a pdf file I have that is a book. And it has some drawings in it. Yes, I can zoom. But it is not a great experience. It’s clunky. It’s … delayed. The best way I know to describe Remarkable is that it is a digital notebook. It was designed to replace real like notebooks or planners or whatever. I now have all digital notebooks and my 20 something notebooks I had with project or book notes or whatever - I got rid of - all of my notebooks are in one place and I get to write in these notebooks and the experience is pretty close to writing in real paper notebooks. So many people want this tablet to do other things that other tablets do … but it just doesn’t. It doesn’t have the processing power. It wasn’t designed to. There are other tablets for those things. The only drawback is it is all grayscale - I can’t mark or highlight in color and since it was designed to replace notebooks - it is something I would have expected.Answered by MelAnn
- A: AnswerNo. Remarkable does not have a colored screen - I really wish it did because I’m all about color coding and I want to doodle in color .. but it’s just not part of Remarkable. I hope they change that in the future.

- A: AnswerI don’t know. I ordered from Best Buy specifically so I wouldn’t have to deal with shipping from / to Australia if I had to return it for any reason. I had until today to return mine - it was extended holiday return time frame but nowhere near 100 days. It would have to be new in the box condition to return it though.

reMarkable 2 w/ Marker Plus & Polymer Weave Folio
I love using the reMarkable 2 even more than I thought I would! I work and learn best when handwriting notes. This tool has been ideal for me to be able to sort my work into separate files and notebooks all in one space. I no longer carry around multiple notebooks for different purposes. The writing surface does not feel like writing on a tablet and having an eraser on the Marker Plus is so useful. I highly recommend this if you are a handwriting, paper, notebook lover like I am!

Don’t know how I managed without it!
I absolutely LOVE my Remarkable 2 notebook! I was supposed to get it for Christmas but I couldn’t wait that long (I was attending a conference right after Thanksgiving and wanted to use it then, at least that was my justification for not waiting). I’ve had it for just over a month now, and I use it every day. I created a planner template in Google Slides then uploaded it into my R2 as a PDF, and it’s amazing! I also have a teaching lesson plan template that I uploaded that’s helping me FINALLY organize all my lesson plans and unit plans in one place (that I can edit and reorganize). I included screenshots of what my planner (with names blacked out) and lesson plan pages look like after I’ve written on them when uploaded to my phone/google drive. I teach high school math, so being able to actually write problems and math equations/notation is super helpful and a huge time saver. You can change pen types (I prefer the calligraphy pen, generally) and different colors, though the different colors only show up in the app, not on the R2 itself (except gray). I cannot recommend it enough!

I like it!
The Remarkable tablet is truly remarkable. It allows me to take a break from my laptop and phone screens while still being productive. I can read the necessary materials in a convenient format. Highly recommended. It offers a fantastically organized file transfer option that allows me to seamlessly transfer files from one device to another with just one click. It's an incredibly convenient feature that enhances my productivity and workflow. Every time I use this feature, I feel like I'm truly living in the future. It's amazing how simple and efficient the file transfer process is on the Remarkable tablet, giving me a 100% futuristic experience.
