I am not impressed with this "solar" charger. Same experience here, leaving it in the bright Arizona sun for hours and no change in the charge level. It works great as a portable power source if you charge it up the old fashioned way, before heading out. Not was I was hoping for.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The manual for this product says it takes 30 hours to charge from 50% to full in sunlight, so that would be about three days to top off the battery. It seems that this device is mostly useful as an external battery to backup your devices and should not be relied upon solely for solar charging. The solar cells are small and don’t produce much electricity, which is why solar chargers without battery backup usually feature large, multiple panels.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Charge the bank with normal power before needing it. It is really only enough solar to trickle charge a phone or the bank even with direct sunlight.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same dilemma so I charged it using my Apple tablet charger and the cord with which it came with. I plugged it in electric outlet and within a few hours the whole LED light was lit and fully charged. Hope this is helpful. I guess maybe if we want to charge outdoors we need to leave it a day or two.
