    • Answer you do NOT have to shut off the water. Once you twist the old filter out, the water stops automatically, except for a few residual drops.

  • QuestionNew filterI just bought the Samsung DA29-00003G Aqua-Pure Plus Refrigerator Water Filter the new replacement for DA29-00003B and DA29-00003A and replaced the old one. Only a small trickle of water comes out now, there is no pressure. I took it out and put it back in and made sure it sits correctly. What is wrong?????

    • Answer I'm not sure what you're asking. If you're looking for the water filter that's compatible with the RSG257 counter depth side by side refrigerator, the DA29-0003B (Best Buy part #7015981) is correct. There is no current Samsung RSG297 model refrigerator or water filter. Perhaps you're wondering about the RFG297 French Door refrigerator? If so, there is the RFG297AA which uses the same replacement filter cartridge as the RSG257. There is also a newer model RFG297HD which uses a different filter, the DA29-00020B replacement cartridge.
