Yes, this model is compatible with the iPhone 6S.

I have iPhone 8 Plus the Viewer works but the controller doesn’t.

The controller has a switch from Apple or Android. I do not see why not I've played a few games with no issue other wise useless for videos the application it prompts to down load.
