• When I open my car door, it turns on and kicks me off what I was doing. That's fine if I'm getting in the car and starting it. If I don't start the car, after a minute the car electronics turn off and my phone connects to wifi again.

• Yes it should stay connected to your car till your car turns off. I just have to turn on my car and it automatically starts right up and goes to wireless carplay.
