Q: QuestionIs the sd card the only means of saving the video files? Is there other software that stores the files for later viewing? I would want to come back to particular times of the day without scrolling through gigs of files to find a certain recording.

• A:Answer Hello! The only way for the system to store video files will be through the microSD card. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to store videos through another means.

Q: QuestionIf the footage is password protected, would the device still loop record or would I have to free up space once the memory card is full?

• A:Answer The manual does not mention loop recording being limited by password protection. Note that files cannot be deleted on the device; either find some computer that will talk to device over USB (Apple will not), or remove the memory card and put it in a card reader to access and delete files.

• A:Answer My experience trying to interface to Apple devices is that you’ll need to remove memory card and put it into a card reader to access files. Also, recordings are stored in the obsolete AVI format
