“Does it reset the settings everytime it is powered on and off if its not hot wired? We got a dash cam that you have to reset up everytime you turn the truck off. I was wondering if it had to be hotwired to prevent that.”

• Hello, no it does not have to be powered to a hardwire kit

• I haven't had that issue with the Rexing dashcam, I have mine plugged in to the socket in my console and it always just comes on with no reset that I can tell.
