Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Chattermax, You have the same microphone pictured on the box, with the addition of the foam windscreen over the microphone tip. That windscreen helps reduce occurrence of echo. The RIG 500 PRO HS has a high sensitivity microphone which can sometimes pick up on your earcup audio creating echo. The windscreen on the microphone helps reduce this You can remove it and try without and if it works fine, then leave it off.
