Hi Critter,3 You say you can't adjust the audio settings - but all the audio settings reside in the Xbox console settings menu. So if you can't adjust those, it sounds like you may have some console issues. Have you made sure your console is fully up to date? Another way to isolate the issue is to plug the headset into another audio source like a PC or tablet (you will have to remove the XBox rubber sleeve from the RIG audio dial plug). If it works when plugged into another device, then it should work when plugged into your Xbox controller. If you find it works plugged into other devices and it still does work in your controller, it could also be a controller issue.
