“I bought the Rig 800hd because I was told it would work, mic and all, on the Xbox 1 by an employee. The sound works but mic does not. What are my options? (the box says it would work on Xbox)”

Hello! We are sorry to hear that. If the microphone of the headset will not work, please make sure it is properly set up under your gaming console audio settings. You may also want to establish a new connection between the headset and the wireless adapter. To do so: 1) Unplug the wireless adapter from your gaming console and restart it (completely turn it off and back on). 2) Reconnect the adapter and press and hold down the linking button on your adapter until it starts flashing an alternative red and blue. 3) Once flashing red and blue please put your headset in pairing mode by pressing and holding the power switch towards the linking icon until it starts flashing red and blue as well. 4) Once the headset stops flashing and the LED light on the adapter is solid purple means they are successfully connected. Last but not least, we recommend testing the headset with your PC to see where the issue is coming from. If for some reason the issue remains, then it means it has an actual problem and it is best to replace it.
